Samsung a well known smart phone producer is reportedly in advanced talks with multifaceted investors for establishing a phone assembly unit in Pakistan. The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) released the progress recorded in Roshan Digital Account (RDA) in the month of June showing “record-high deposits of $310M”. Roshan Digital Account (RDA) progress data showed the accounts opened from 171 countries and accounted for US$ 1.562 billion in deposits so far, stated in a press release by State Bank of Pakistan. The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) posted losses against the US Dollar (USD) in the interbank currency market on the first trading day of the new fiscal year (2 July) after posting an improvement on the last trading day of the previous fiscal year (30 June).  In the ending fiscal year (FY2021), the PKR had improved by Rs. 10.51 or 6.25 percent against the USD.
