Salman Iqbal, president and chief executive officer of ARY Digital Network, made the announcement on social media. “I am happy to announce that ARY Digital Network has secured the exclusive TV & Digital Rights of the FIFA WORLD CUP 2022 For Pakistan”.
Salman Iqbal, who also owns the Karachi Kings of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has always shown a desire to develop sports in the nation, whether it is squash, MMA, or cricket.

In Qatar, the FIFA World Cup 2022 will begin on November 21. The competition, which is referred to be the largest athletic event in the world after the Olympics, has 32 foreign teams participating in eight groups. Against the first day of the competition, England will take on Iran.
A-Sports, Pakistan’s first HD sports channel, has previously broadcast important sporting events as the Karachi Open Squash Championship, PSL Season 2022, and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.
From July 1 to July 3, the station will also broadcast the British Grand Prix of 2022.
