KARACHI: According to a statement, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) modified public dealing and office schedules for the banking industry for the holy month of Ramadan on Friday.
Timings for public dealing:
Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (without break)
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday (without break)
Office hours:
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday (prayer break from 2-2:15 pm)
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday (without break)
On Saturday, April 2 (Saturday), the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will gather to sight the Ramadan moon, with the holy month anticipated to begin on April 3.
