Despite the surge in gold rate on the international stage, the local market experienced a decline. The price of a tola of gold saw a notable dip of Rs1,900, closing at Rs232,600. In the same vein, the cost of 10 grams of 24-carat gold saw an increase of Rs1,629, reaching Rs199,417.

In the international arena, the value of this precious metal rose by $3, reaching a settlement of $1,904 per ounce.
In the midst of these changes, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs2,800 per tola and Rs2,400.54 per 10 grams, respectively.
