The Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has once again raised the prices of its vehicles including Suzuki Cultus, making it the third time in a period of one month that the prices of Suzuki vehicles have been increased by the Company.
The latest price increase follows the passage of the Finance (Supplemental) Bill, 2023,” in Pakistan’s National Assembly, which imposed additional taxes and duties totaling Rs 170 billion.
The General Sales Tax (GST) has been raised from 17% to 18% under the bill, which is expected to exacerbate inflation.
Since the PMSC raised the prices of its vehicles on February 20, 2023, the Suzuki Cultus VXR now costs Rs 3,540,00, the Cultus VXL costs Rs 3,889,000, and the Cultus AGS costs Rs 4,147,000.
