Multan’s PP-217 by-election has been won by PTI’s Zain Qureshi, the son of former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, according to unofficial results. This gives his party a significant advantage in the Punjab by-elections.
Unofficially, PML-Muhammad N’s Salman Naeem came in second place with 40104 votes, just ahead of Zain.
