KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) declared a four-day shutdown on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr on Wednesday, according to a statement published by the central bank.
As a consequence, all banks in the nation will be closed from May 2 (Monday) through May 5 (Thursday), according to a statement from the central bank.
Earlier, the Government of Pakistan released a timetable for the Eid ul Fitr holidays, which would begin on May 2, according to a notice.
The four-day vacation will begin on May 2 and go through May 5 (Thursday), according to the announcement, which was approved by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to astronomers, the Shawwal moon will be visible on the evening of May 2, causing Eid ul Fitr to occur on Tuesday, May 3, this year, according to Daily Jang.
According to the journal, the moon is predicted to be born between April 30 and May 1 around 1:28 a.m. on the crossing conjunction point.
