Huawei released the MatePad SE tablet in the Chinese market earlier this year. The tablet has recently been released under a new name: Huawei MatePad C5e. This tablet will initially be offered in Japan, following which it will be accessible in other worldwide markets.

The Huawei MatePad C5e boasts a 10.1-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and an 80 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device is powered by the company’s Kirin 710 processor. Four Cortex-A73 cores @ 2.0GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.7GHz, and a Mali G51 GPU are included in the CPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable up to 512GB via microSD).
The tablet offers dual-channel speakers and Histen 7.0 Sound support. There’s a 5-megapixel sensor on the back panel and a 2-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.
In terms of software, the Huawei MatePad C5e runs Android 12-based EMUI 10.1. It sports a 5,100 mAh battery with 10W rapid charging capabilities.
