KARACHI – Most parts of Sindh remained in the grip of muggy weather on Wednesday, causing people to sweat profusely throughout the day.
However, the coastal regions of Sindh, including the port city, experienced scattered light rain and drizzle. Nawabshah held the record for the highest temperature in Sindh, reaching a scorching 40 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Karachi’s temperature peaked at 31 degrees Celsius, with a relative humidity of 72 percent in the evening.
Over the next couple of days, Karachi’s maximum temperature is projected to hover between 31-33 degrees Celsius. The current weather setup involves a shallow westerly wave situated over the northern areas of the country. This setup will lead to hot and humid conditions across most districts of Sindh on Wednesday night. The central and southern districts of the province might experience dust storms or winds causing raised dust.
Anticipate rain and thunderstorms in the coastal areas, including Karachi, with similar weather conditions expected to persist into Thursday.
