As Pakistan takes on Namibia today in the T20 World Cup, skipper Babar Azam believes the squad can’t afford to be complacent at any time (Tuesday).
The flashy hitter expressed his ambitions for the national cricket team and what pushes him to perform better in a video provided by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The Pakistani team will go to the semi-finals with a win against Namibia today, but the captain has advised his squad not to get complacent.
“In a tournament like this, we’ll have to produce consistently and be at our best every game. We can’t be complacent against any team because the second you allow your opponent a little breathing room, they’ll be able to steal the game from you, so we’ll have to be at our best,” the captain urged his colleagues.
