Realme first introduced the Narzo 50A and Narzo 50i smartphones in September, followed by the Narzo 50 last month. And today, the Realme Narzo 50 A Prime was unveiled at a special launch ceremony in Indonesia.
The newest member of the Narzo 50 family is an improved version of the previous Narzo 50A phone. In terms of specifications, the Narzo 50A Prime is almost similar to the Realme C35, with the primary differences being design and chipset.
Display & Design
Narzo 50A Prime has a dual-tone finish in terms of design. The back panel has a kevlar-like feel and a glossy appearance, and it holds a rectangular camera island.
The Realme Narzo 50A Prime boasts a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 600 nits of brightness, and a 90.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. A punch-hole cut-out in the display houses an 8MP selfie snapper. For biometrics and authentication, the tablet also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Hardware and storage
The Unisoc T612 chipset powers the Narzo 50A Prime, which has 4 GB of RAM and either 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage. Using a dedicated microSDXC card slot, capacity may be expanded up to 1TB.
Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio port are also included. The Narzo 50A prime has almost identical specifications to the Realme C35, with the exception that the Narzo model has a Unisoc T612 processor whereas the C35 has a Unisoc T616 SoC.
In terms of software, the gadget runs Realme UI R Edition on top of Android 11 OS.
Cameras
The gadget has a triple-lens setup with a 50MP main sensor for photography. It also has a 2MP portrait B&W sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and an LED flash.
Battery Life and Availability
The Narzo 50A Prime is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging through USB-C.
In terms of pricing, the 4GB/64GB option begins at $140, while the 4GB/128GB variant costs $155. The smartphone will be available in Indonesia beginning March 25th.
