Qualcomm's suspected CPU, codenamed SM8475, may make an official debut as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus SoC, according to rumors

Qualcomm, a semiconductor company, unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU in December 2021. According to recent industry rumors, Qualcomm is working on an enhanced ‘Plus’ version of their flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

Qualcomm’s suspected CPU, codenamed SM8475, may make an official debut as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus SoC, according to rumors of a leaked roadmap. Yogesh Brar, a reputable source, has revealed the launch date for Qualcomm’s forthcoming flagship processor.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was manufactured on Samsung’s 4nm technology, however, the future Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ will be produced on TSMC’s 4nm process. According to rumors, the Plus edition will be more efficient than the standard model.

According, Qualcomm will introduce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ in early May. Around the same time, Qualcomm is expected to unveil the new Snapdragon 700 series
