According to a recent report, the Vivo X80 Pro would use the same MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and have a comparable display. The Vivo X80 is one of three phones in the Vivo X80 series, which also includes the Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 Pro+. Vivo’s latest phones are slated to be released in April.
The Vivo X80 is believed to include a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED full-HD+ display with a hole-punch cutout, according to a Weibo post by famed tipster Digital Chat Station. According to the tip, there will be a “DC-like fading” function (translated), as well as an X-axis linear motor for tactile feedback. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC is reported to power the Vivo smartphone. The device will have a 4,000mm square heat dissipation chamber.

The phone is said to come with a triple back camera arrangement that includes a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 sensor, a 13-megapixel secondary camera, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor for photography. The phone might include a 44-megapixel front camera for selfies.
In reality, the Vivo X80 specs disclosed by the Digital Chat Station are identical to the Vivo X80 Pro’s rumored features. It’s expected that the phone would include up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
