Xiaomi’s 12 series was released a few months ago. According to the IMEI database, the firm seems to be preparing to introduce some new variations, notably the Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro. The database does not provide many specifics about the smartphones, however, the 12S series is rumored to contain the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ CPU SM8475. Furthermore, the Xiaomi 12S versions are believed to offer significantly improved functionality over the basic ones.
The Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro, as reported by Xiaomiui.net, have emerged in the IMEI database with the model numbers 2206123SC and reduced model number L3S, and 2206122SC and shorter model number L2S, respectively. The codenames for the phones are also said to be “diting” for the Xiaomi 12S and “unicorn” for the Xiaomi 12S Pro.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which is slated to be released in the second part of the year, has been identified as L1 in the IMEI database.
