Xiaomi 13 series is expected to use a ceramic body manufactured by BYD

The Xiaomi 12S series of smartphones was just introduced in China by Xiaomi. The brand’s next Xiaomi 13 series, according to Chinese source Digital Chat Station, may have a ceramic body. It is anticipated that BYD would produce it. The informant adds that as this is just a prototype, it is still unclear if the final device will indeed include a ceramic rear panel. A ceramic body was also anticipated for the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, but the company decided against it.

It is anticipated that the Xiaomi 13 series would debut later in November of this year. According to reports, an SM8550 processor, which may be the Snapdragon 8 gen 2 chip, would power it. Standard and Pro variants with the codenames Nuwa and Fuxi, respectively, are anticipated to be part of the portfolio. The former is designated as model 2211133C.
