According to authorities, nine people have been arrested in China after a video showing a savage assault on women by a gang of males in the city of Tangshan went viral.
It sparked outrage on social media and reignited discussion in China about gender violence.
In a restaurant, a guy placed his hand on a woman’s back, and she pulled him away.
The guy is seen punching her before being dragged outside and attacked as she is lying on the ground.
Her eating companions are also attacked by the bunch of males.
Officials stated two of the ladies were taken to the hospital and were in “stable condition and not in grave danger,” while two others had minor injuries.
