Oppo Reno 8 might be one of the first smartphones to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Generation

The details for the Oppo Reno 8 have purportedly been released by a well-known Weibo source. According to rumours, this phone will be the first to use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. In addition, the tipster saw an Oppo phone with the model number PGAM10, which may be the Oppo Reno 8’s basic version.

In May or June, this device is likely to hit the Chinese market. The Oppo Reno 8 is said to come with a 6.55-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The purportedly leaked specs come from tipster Digital Chat Station, who also says that the Oppo Reno 8 would be the first smartphone to use Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processors. A recent rumor has also hinted at the design of the alleged device.

The Reno 8 is expected to sport a flat-screen display with a hole-punch slot for the selfie camera in the left corner. A rectangular camera module for the triple rear camera arrangement might also be included. At launch, the Rono 8 is expected to come in Black, Blue, and Silver gradient color choices.
